Gday Crew,
Finally decided to put up a few photos from our trip to the Mackies earlier this month. Absolutely awesome spot, Cant wait to get back there... which I dont think will be too far away!!

The big girl nailed a 7 Inch McArthy, most plastics work there, of all different shapes and sizes. Got hammered on the Lucanus Jigs aswell, plenty of GTs, Mackies and Trout. Only to loose a few too many jigs and then a monster hook up ending up with a bent hook... so switched back to the jig heads.
Got to get out there!

Top trip guys!!! Love those big bar cheek & rankins on plastics!
Mackie Islands is somewhere id love to venture for a look with the straight hook!
Re your comment on my islands post we should hook up for a 2 boat trip sometime! always looking for another boat to join us - safety in numbers and competitive fun and games always a laugh!
