Quobba report and photo's from long w.e
Another long weekend means another fishing trip.
My mates and i went to quobba.
Not the best weather but we still managed to fish all day for the 3 days there.
The first two days were spent spinning slices for macks at various spots but we only managed a few small sharkies and little spaniards.
The first good fish of the trip was the tuna that was hooked casting a soft plastics on a 3000 reel and 7ft rod darda had no chance of getting it in before the sharks came.
We ended up losing a few fish to some big sharks.
We had a ball using light gear and small poppers, stickbaits, slices and plastics catching little trevs and queenies.
With only southerly blowing the whole trip and no luck on slices visit decided to send out a balloon and with in a minute and 10 metres from the ledge his gardie got nailed resulting in a 17kg spaniard.
Hope ya like the photos.

Good one
Looks like you had a good weekend even if the southerlies gave you curry. Good variety shown in the catch.
The bloke who got the lemon shark would have known it was there.
