Malaysia: Lumut Area

Hey guys,
I'll be in Malaysia, Lumut for work in January/February. Was looking at sneaking in a fishing trip or 2.
I was hoping to go chase some sailies in Kuala Rompin, but apparently this fishery stops from November to April due to the monsoon?
Anyway, hoping for someone to point me at some alternatives..

The sails are still there and
The sails are still there and like here, you just have to pick your days, the seas are milder there, it's just that there will be more wet days. The boatmen there will still head out.

Thanks Alfred. Are you referring to Lumut or to Kuala Rompin? Since Lumut is located on the West Coast, it may be more sheltered than Rompin. Can you chase the sails out of Lumut as well? Is there any other good fishing to be had out of Lumut?
