Know a couple of blokes who have had a go one got 7 keepers in 5 hours of work, the other 8 in about the same time lots of small ones. give it another month and it should pick up.
I've been wading around there for the last few weeks chasing YellowFin, normally its like a mine field but at the moment very few crabs, and those ones are small.
I was down there yesterday and over the 6 hours i fished i saw maybe 2 or 3 blues that would have been size. There are a few small females around willing to bite toes but again not that many.
from infront off Bouvard/parkridge got a few. Seen one boat infront off our place lifting pots within binoculor view and he had crabs in his pots, ? size though. Others where there but some for ages. Pros have been out this morning, one laying his pots close to the eastern dropoff and the other deep near the "windmill".
Might give it a go this weekend, or Wednesday but the wind looks awful for Wednesday. Be good to get on the briny again.
