See fishers there...
...all the time, but never see any fish. Have had a go myself there more than a few times for no result.
If you're shore-based, go to the Dawesville Cut. Plenty of skippy and tailor at the eastern end in the mornings, although the sizes were down when I was last there about 5 days ago.
Should also be plenty of KG's in there ATM...coral prawns are the best bait. Only small fish, between 30 and 35cm for the most part, so use a smaller hook, size 6 or 8.

Tims Thicket is exellent at this time of the year, everytime we go there we get loads of herring and mullet, last time we went there got busted off on some enormous salmon taking our surf popper set for herring
