Afternoon all,
Just wondering if anyone had any luck out from Mandurah over the weekend? We tried several spots, close and out wide but came up with nothing (apart from a sea sick step son ).
cheers

I am beginining to believe you Wazz
Short of buying a couple of fish, jagging my kids lines and having them 'catch' something, I am begining to think that there is nothing around. Going to give it another damn good go this weekend.
(The sooner they get the marina started and finished at Rockingham the better).

Tailor landbased
There was a purple patch of tailor running on one of the southern most beaches of Mandurah on the weekend. Most people along the beach bagged out easily. Heaps of Herring and heaps of juvenile tarwhine made a nuisance of themselves.

I caught 7 tailor, 4 sized, few herring too, just peddling backwards and forwards in the yak in the estuary.. just trolling a twistie, good fun on my 4lb bream gear.
An hour before sunset, between the two bridges.
