I'm an EGFC member, but they seem to post all results and anything of note on FB, which is no good to those of us who don't/won't use it. We had one serious effort the weekend before, on my last day up there--trolled from about 8.30 to 3.30 off tantabiddy, mostly 250-900 metres, all the usual places. Water was 29 deg, colour brilliant, zero life. Only fish I heard of for the day was a YFT est 50kg. Not even Eddie could raise a marlin. This was only 3 days after the cyclone went past to the north, and the water was still very disturbed.

I believe only 9 billfish tagged for the Heavy Tackle.
