Marc, I am quite sure that
Marc, I am quite sure that you will find those are Cubera, not Mangrove Jacks. Cubera grow to much much bigger sizes and are more a reef species that you can pop for; as opposed to Jacks which are estuarine (although larger species move to deeper water offshore).
I recognise the anglers including the lady and have seen their postings.

Yeah i got seen these pics and many more killer pics on a USA site and just about fell off my chair when i seen them. I thought they were Jacks lol!
