Massive metro tailor !!!!
Sorry guys , now that i have your attention ;)
Who is keen on a meet up thursday the 27th october penguin island? Public holiday friday. Wont be many people over the island.
Last time i went i landed a beauty and lost a couple more. Thought i would post it now to get bosses time to let ya have it off. Friday is a public holiday so it will be a extra long weekend.
Meet up 9 oc ferry to the island $12 return. get the 1oc ferry back. Fish all around the island but mainly the ocean side for big tailor.
Let me know is you are keen.

I'm keen for this! Weather permitting I'll take the ski over and fish the back of the reefs while you guys bomb the inside! Could be a sneaky salmon around too, brother got onto a school of 3kg fish only half an hour drive away from pengoes last week!

this whole time i thought the day was set for friday! checked the long range forecast and was going to say friday is looking good so far and then read it was for thurs! Im out but i might still go on friday though..

To the north at the very end
To the north at the very end of the stretch of sand where the white water is probably the best spot for tailor and salmon, also just south of your target area where the rocky outcrop is on the sand is also a good spot, just south of the wave Is a nice sand hole, might be a chance of a king george there if your lucky. A 3.5m great white was spotted there by bodyboarders on sunday arvo 20m behind the reef. The very sw corner of the island looks very fishy for tailor but I've never managed to pull one out of there, I'm not sure if you can get to it by walking I've always been on the ski.
