Matching A Reel Up To The NS Black Hole Explorer PE2!

G'day just a quick question fellas...Wondering if a 2500 Stella would match up well to the NS black hole explorer PE2 or will a 2500 sized Stella be to small to suit the rod?

Thinking of buying the rod for an upcoming Shark Bay trip.

Cheers.

Hey Anthony!  Yeah mate, perfect match for the rod and the bay.  Gutsie little rods the Explorer.  I ran a C3000 Twinpower on mine at Abrolhos and a 3000 Stella on my Magic Eye and although the Twinpower is smaller, still a perfect balance.

From memory isn't the 3000 size the same weight with more capacity? I think at least in the previous model that was the case? In which case I'd go with a 3000

When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:

n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or

n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.
