Men pelted with rocks at Mindarie beach
Police are looking for up to 30 juveniles responsible for a vicious attack on two 21-year-old men at a beach in the Perth suburb of Mindarie.
Kyle Williams says he was dropping his younger brother and sister at a beach party at Claytons Beach on Friday night, when a group of youths began pelting his vehicle with rocks for no apparent reason.
Mr Williams says the attack left his 21-year-old friend with a broken jaw and missing teeth.
Mr Williams says he has a head wound, bleeding on the brain, a shattered eye socket and a suspected broken bone in his neck.
"There were about 30 or more people on top of us and rocks, while I'm laying on the ground," he said.
"I can't remember too much of the night, they wouldn't have stopped if there weren't people there to help us."

if you take a 357 magnum with ya your an idiot mate - i know a few licenced firearm holders and have used there firearms on private property and they stay on the farm in a safe not in the pocket down the beach - there isnt 30 bullets in a 357 magnum how r you gonna stop 30 youths that are drunk and rowdy its the only people that should carry guns are police oficers - quit trying to be a hero and leave your hand gun at home in an approved safe!

when i heard about this on the radio it made me sick to think people could do this. there is 3 words that can describe the behaviour of a lot of youths these days and its something that should be forced back into them. LACK OF RESPECT . we have all been teenagers before and some here are still but in my teen days we would never have even dreampt of this sort of thing

I deal with these little
I deal with these little tu-ds every weekend. They all swim out onto the jetty's and climb into boats and jump of them. Honestly they have no real respect at all. They are all nice and friendly when close but as they are out of range they let you have it. I've said that this summer i will have a paint ball gun and I'll dish out my own justice.
As well as drug dealing, graffiti and general law less ness the southern peninsular in my opinion is about to be lost. A bloke with a block on the water has been told he will need 24 hour security by his builders before they start.
Kids barter between dealers for the best deal. All this and the local cops know all about it BUT they never get any complaints from the public so they have no spare officers or resources to deal with the drama. Sadly these kids are making it worse for themselves because as they escalate the cops have to start to deal more and more and now a much heavier police presence will be felt around the area over the weekends.
On Friday night when i left the marina i passed a group of maybe 10 13 to 14 year old girls walking to Clayton's. On Th previous Sunday there was a similar group of younger girls until an older more predatory group of boys moved in to swim, hang out and who knows what ever. With in a short time i noticed the girls then drinking and on it goes.
Were are there parents. Well I've spoken with many parents of these teenage kids and they all say the same thing, oh no my boy was there but he didn't know any of the group involved. Can't even give descriptions. I've approached parents, even rang them and said you kid is down here pissed as you had better get down here, to be told no his not there his at a mates place.
I just hope when I'm older and my kids younger i can not be so god given stupid!
I've lived in Mindarie since 1993 and the changes have been nothing short of ridiculous.

i know how you feel ive been bashed to a pulp on serveral occasions and had my wallet taken by mobs of kids and one time by a mob of big thugs - but watch how the police have no tolerance for there s**t and will just tazer them and jump on them hand cuffs and straight in the paddy wagon - the best punishment the can receive cos there parents are notified as well
