Micro jigging help.

Hi everyone, i recently baught myself a curado 70 with 10lb pe 0.6 braid. I have been micro jigging small pinks, skippy, tarwhine etc of the boat. I want to get a gomoku for it but since they dont sell the green in overhead anymore, would the erito be to heavy? main target fish is 0 - 4kg but sometimes i might have fun on big pinks or salmon. Thanks.

The red Erito will be fine

The red Erito will be fine for say 40 to 60 gram jigs although its rated for more . I have the spin model and have caught a meter sambo and got a 90cm pinky last Friday night flicking 1/4 ounce jig heads and 5 inch streakz.

When did they stop making OH green models ? Surely the big chain stores would still have some available .

The Erito would be sweet, I

The Erito would be sweet, I used to run 10lb on one, albeit on spin gear. They have a really light tip that works 20-40g jigs well, while the middle of the blank slow jigs up to 80-100g if you're careful.

They fold away and load up nicely on the fat rotto skippy I've caught on it, not much lifting power through the butt if you have to turn something bigger though.

Or look at the majorcraft crostage or giant killing light jigger series awesome rods for the price better guides than the gaymoku. I have knocked some serious dhuies on mine upto 15kg highly recommend them that's for sure

Erito will be fine...

....40-60gms is my ideal weight, but handles 20-30gms no problem. I typically fish in 20-30m, using PE 1.2. Has handled 80+cm snapper, 10kg+ sambos, and a 10kg stingray (hope THAT never happens again)...but still great fun on skippy and smaller demersals like blackarse and harleys.
