Just wondering if there are any gardies around rocko at the moment land based looking at taking my son for a fish over the weekend ,and what time is best morning , midday or evening?
dont mind getting herring either ,need bait for exxy

gardies at e shed dont take prawns, well they havnt for me anyway

i was getting a fair few
i was getting a fair few herring in the middle of the day at that boat ramp near wells park down that way. didnt berley up, just walked around chucking 15 and 20g twisties. funny thing was, everybody was fishing of the jetty belting there baits way out not catching a thing, and i just stood on the rocks to the side of the ramp casting across some shallow water hooking up quite often.

I was 250 m east of the
I was 250 m east of the coathanger in 4m of water on Saturday.
Schools of gardies were constantly swimming past.
this was the start of my drift for squid just before the start of the weed and everytime I went around for another drift they were still there..
