This is the missing pic from "Blast from the past".Results of an overnight trip on a mates boat from Bunbury up to Preston Beach/Bouvard reef
There was a bag limit of 10 per person then.

Bouvards are only a few miles offshore too, so I doubt too many could replicate that effort these days unless they head off shore a whole lot further.
Pic quality puts it around late 70's early 80's?

Time of trip

At a guess the trip was 25-27 years ago.The mates daughter,Tracey has a daughter of her own now.
The boat was a Hartley design 20 foot bondwood that Lloyd built from scratch with a 140 evinrude on the back,the only thing that was "MODERN"was the sounder,a Lowrance x15 paper sounder.
All fish were caught on 100+ lb handlines
