Pretty thirsty cars, dad has the 3.8

2" lift and a good set of tyres should get you most places, think my mate got 33's on his and its stock

I got EFS suspension kit, happy with it so far, 3 year 100,000km warranty too, cheap but quality.

I am looking at getting a Bull Bar snorkle ( looks and performance not swimming) 2 inch OME with nos for softer compression and a couple of bars over the top with a awning for the kids when we go fishing etc

Dont think you can turn

Dont think you can turn traction control off either...

So once you hit a bit of soft sand it will cut power to all wheels and you cant go anywhere..

You want traction control on

You want traction control on in the sand. You are thinking about the stability control, which gets confused on sand. There should be a button to turn it off, if there isn't the car would be a joke!

I've got an np and I can

I've got an np and I can turn the traction control off. Also it comes off automatically when you select low range. It might be because it's a 2006 model. Last of the nps had some running gear from the newer model. I got a 2 inch lift from suspension stuff on the net. I got king springs and oztec shockies for around a grand. The reason I went with the oztecs are they have a life time warranty on them while you own the car.
