hi guys recently brought a torium and looking to start slide baiting just wondering what everyones opinions are on mono and the best for the job?

For slide baiting don't use anything less than .50 as u will need the abrasion resistance , .55 will be better . Types try get some stilstar high abrasion, high resistance or some double x super strong.

i have used suffix , stren and now platypus low stretch and the low stretch has been the bes so far for me mate.

Been using suffix. I got a few spools of yozuri hybrid flurocarbon. Looks the goods but only 30lb brarking strain at 0.5mm but I rekon it will be very hard wearing being fluro.
