Have a Diawa haramasa 63b overhead model, looks like a stick , wieghs 215 grams from memory

so far got some middling sambos and a 10kg metro mack on it , but going on your effort it can take a bit more.

bring on some lineburners haha.

well done , the first run must have been a hippo howler ( remember peter pottamus, a cartoon)

When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:

n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or

n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

Thanks for the comments

Tue, 2012-04-24 21:04

Thanks for the comments guys.  I had to lock him up a bit more than I normally would as the previous onr of around 10k got sharked in a big way. I could feel the blank bending through the reel seat.

@ Bitten .. think you might be on the money there mate .. I put it down for 24k (50lb) to be safe though.. you know what fisho's are like heheh

@ Quadfisher.. mate, I put it on par with the 25k GT's we caught out of Cooktown. Only diff might be that the GT's go right to the bitther end ..

Cheers

Krusty
