Moore river tinny hire

My grandad is here from OS for a few weeks and I was hoping to take him up the moore for some bream...

was hoping that someone knew the cost and specs of the tinnys they hire out there just for the day?

If anyone could help out that would be great,

Cheers,

We've hired them out before.

We've hired them out before. Just tried to find the website, but can't see it.

From memory a bloke called Peter runs it and it's on the river foreshore near the toilet block in the left hand car park. It's easy to find.

Shouldn't imagine you'd have much trouble hiring one, he's got a few.

You can hire 4 people or 6 people tinny's, which are basic but come with everything you need. I think we paid $90 + $30 returnable deposit for 3 hours.

It was a good day out and enough time to get far enough up river to get into some decent fish.

Let me know if you need any more info.

Yes Dazza that's it, found the link on this page is well.

http://www.guildertoncaravanpark.com.au/activities_and_attractions.htm

If you look at the picture at the top of the screen you can see the car park, just in front of that is where Peter has his stall. It's got a few numbers listed for Peter at the bottom of that page.

We've been up a few times with the kids, if you want to make a day of it there's loads more to do. We went on the river cruise with Phil which was fantastic, the blokes knowledge of river is amazing, did a bit of fishing shore based from the boardwalk slightly upstream (easy for oldies to get to) and had some tea at the cafe amoore which was nice.

Th roadhouse has river prawns as well, in case you forget to take some.

Hope you have a good day mate.
