Moving to KARRATHA...Yeah Baby!
Hi everyone, my name is Kyron (nickname:Fish), I have just joined the site, Ive been lookin at all the trophies that have been landed in the Pilbara...impressive to say the least...i have just been informed that I am being posted with the Army to Karratha for 3 years, and I couldnt be happier...Im runnin a Gulf Runner 4.45m side consul, 50 Yam, Minn kota, that was set up for Barra fishing when I was in NQ 2 years back. I also do a bit of YAK fishing from my Hobie paddle drive yak,....Im used to catching Bream around Perth on lures, but im more than happy to trade up to a few good Jacks or Threadies... I will be working with The Pilbara Regiment (for those who know it) in Town, and look forward to meeting a few fishos whilst up that way. It will take a while for me to find my feet in the waters around the NW, but I look forward to it immensly, I am mainly a lure fisho, and dont mind throwin the odd livey...my family and I look forward to meeting a few of the locals up that way when we get there in late Dec 09...Cheers!! :-)

Cheers guys, I have had it with the Perth winter, cant get up there quick enough...Yeah, I am one of those lucky blokes who missus hates shopping and loves fishing, camping etc. Took her fishing for the first time 4 years back in NQ, first time she used a lure, she wasnt even paying attention at the time, told me she was snagged so I helped her out...well...never again, she landed a 116cm Barra on a barrabait diver as her first fish...now I cant keep her out of the boat! I need lads to go fishing with so im not reminded of how I got outdone...everytime we go out LOL:( Look forward to catching up with a few of you up that way...Cheers!
