Muddies in Broome

I was fortunate to do a few days with work in Broome and stayed over for the weekend. A mate took us out mudcrabbing and we got our limit in 3 pulls. It was certainly an interesting exercise as the tide rises so quickly you lose track of where you are and where you set the nets. We ended up after the first drop leaving the floats hanging in the trees !
I am told that they were all greens except for the biggest one which was a brown. Not something that a Perthite manages to do too often. The funny part is that we got them in the creek at the back of Coles in town !
Tasted bloody good washed down with a couple of cold beers !
