My 1st Time

G'day guys, I'll be heading to Perth this February for my daughter's graduation and was hoping to get some fishing in between my short trip there...I'm from sunny Singapore by the way. Can any of you kind blokes recommend any fishing spots to try, I'll be bring up most of my lures and a light set up. What lures work best for the types of fishes that you catch in the area.

Thanking you in advance

Francis

Try the canning bridge and surrouding area for black bream. use vibesor blades in the deep water and divers in the shallows

Toss divers around Ascot. just weave your way along the banks and dont take crap from the toffs.

Northern beachs for tarwhine, whiting, or herring.

theres something to start with.

Many thanks for the info Southcity104, looks like I have to go over there to see what lures you guys are using. Most of my lures are from Yozuri which are mostly crank baits. I hope it will do the job.

I'll visit the tackle shop tomorrow and get me some soft rubber lures.

Thanks for the warning on the blowfish scottland, looks like vibes and crankbaits will have to do. By the way, any good fishing tackle stores around worth looking into? I'll be staying in the Cannington area.

Best advice and service I know of. Oh, BTW they are a sponsor here . You will need to head down that way anyway to make your trip worthwhile both for fishing and site seeing.

Right!! Campbell's it is. I won't have much time for sightseeing though, I'll be downunder for only a week to be with my daughter for her graduation, wish I had more time there. Got to squeeze in what little time I have for fishing.
