Need ideas for short boaties

So I just bought a Haines Signature 610, but being less than 5' 3", I am having to stand on tiptoe to look over the windscreen.  A weekend on the boat standing on tiptoes have gotten me very sore toes

I reckon I need something about 4 inches high and soft, yet firm to stand on.  The admiral would probably need 5 inches.

I need ideas (none overly costly ones).  Ideally the idea would have a practical use as well (like a box that is strong/shaped right that can double as a tool box).

Any ideas apprciated!  I will try and post a picture of the area later.

option would be a square chunk of rubber (Clark Rubber). It'd be a shock absorber too. Haven't tried it myself though.

Stilettos from the misses side of the wardrobe, while in there grab a dress as well...multi purpose ...never know might lift the catch rate up a bit....What about one of those kiddie toilet steps you can get for you no toilet training...a bit of plywood make up a box...put those valuables in it when boating....you will figure it out

Grumpy
check the small foam fender out -its 50mm thick, so you could either buy two or cut it in half with a knife and glue together -

Sporting goods stores sell a step thing that women and men use in aerobics,

from memory it's about 3 foot wide 6 inches high and long enough to allow your foot

to fit on comfortably.

dunno what they're actually called to, but light weight and easy to move.

good luck

Cheers for the comments - even the smartarse ones   I ended up using the large whitworths foam fenders for now. Didn't realise this EVA foam is so expensive. I worked it out to be !2509 per cubism metre.
