Made of money?

This baby will blow a orange thru a hose pipe!, worlds biggest , baddest 12 volt air compressors, they

made them for running the ctis ( central tyre inflation system ) on militry hummers, now avail in Aust, they do 8 cfm at 100psi, pulling

150 amps  ,read that again.

alot of dough? but if you want the best or have 35,s or over , just the thing, great product, And on my wish list.

I have the boss pxo7 , about 3.5cfm, with a 18 litre tank in back , its mounted under drivers seat , but it really needs another

under the pass seat to really be a good system , there around 400 .

Unsealed 4x4

Mon, 2016-01-04 16:35

See if this works mate for some info, www.unsealed4x4.com.au/issue017/#29.

Or google compressor comparison as there was a good one done around the time the ARB double pumpers came out a good while ago. There hasnt really much come out in some time, except for the oasis compressor from jedair.

 Check out the 4WD Super

Check out the 4WD Super centre.

They have the Thumper Mk2 and for the price they are hard to beat. Check out the reviews they get.

Not got one myself but know a couple of guys with them and they recon they are great.

They are very cheap but out perform other more expensive brands.

Worth a look !!

ARB Twin

Mon, 2016-01-04 23:06

I've had a few of the cheaper ones, including the original Thumper, I've now got the ARB Twin, hardwired in under my passengers seat, no problems running and pretty quick (285/75R16 15-45PSI in approx 1:50ea). costs a few extra $$, but if it does break - you can get replacement parts

Dr air proflow 150. I own one

Mon, 2016-01-04 23:35

Dr air proflow 150. I own one and a few mates have bought them after seeing mine in action. Certainly not as quick as the double arb setup but it is 1/3 the price. I got mine from Bursons a few years ago at trade for less than $200. I can do all 4 33's from 15 - 40 psi and be gone while most are still doing second tyre as well.

I have abused this compressor for 4 years now with no dramas. I was only getting 12 months from other (Not much cheaper mind you) compressors from evilbay.

Cheap

One thing to remember, what you pay is what you get.
What seems a good cheap deal today usually shits itself when you really need it.

+1 for ARB, not cheap.

I have the single piston in the grey toolbox model. Puts 265/70x16 from 14 to 32 lb in 90 secs per tyre. And they are rebuildable if necessary, mine has done over five years now.
