Came across this new Daiwa Caldia while I was surfing the net.
Looks like the Sol, but in white. Could this be the new and improved version? If so, it should be a ripper!
Price is around the $250 mark.

but that 2506 would be a ripper eging reel I reckon.
Daiwa seem to be big on those round EVA knobs at the moment. Seem to be pooping up on all of their newer reels.

I thought the Caldia was below the Sol. Also these are $100 cheaper than the Sol if they are around that price.
All the small Daiwa reels look the same atm. Just different colours.

Yeah the round knobs only used to be on the big Saltiga's, but like you said, all the smaller sizes are coming stock standard with them now.
