New Boat :-)

Its been a long time coming but handed over the $$$ today on a 2352 Trophy pro walkaround. Reckon its the perfect all rounder, big enough to get out into the deep stuff, small enough to tow up north, shade and shelter for family days and capable of being an overnighter at rotto. and with the walkthrough to the marlin board it should be awesome as a diving platform too. has a 5.0 mpi mercruiser with 46 hours on the clock, cant wait to get her on the water and into some metro mackies

yeah theyre fish boxes either side of the engine hatch, they have macerator pumps to pump out any liquid or you can keep them dry and use them as extra storage if you want.

she does need a little TLC to bring her back to new condition, just little things like replacing faded / sun damaged cushions and clears, bit of a scrub n polish here n there etc but hull wise and mechanically shes A1 :-)

one good thing ive found about the trophys is you can order any genuine component for them from the trophy factory easily in the usa and its all fairly inexpensive compared to buying aftermarket things or getting upholstery redone here in perth.

will eventually upgrade the sounder too but it seems to be adequate for use for the near future :-)

Absolutely beautiful boat, Kane. One thing though, are you adequately insured? Considering the thread earlier, it will be worth it!

Mon, 2012-03-12 12:08

great choice mate, I loved my trophy when I had it.

the bigger 2352's have more room to move & fish in  than the 2052 I had.

enjoy the tub,

Tony
