Manged a 4 days trip down south to Albany from this Thursday. Never fishing there before.
I have two surf rods (12 feet & 10 feet). Looking for some good spots for surf fishing or rock fishing...try to catch some 40cm+ fish...
Anyone have been fishing there recently or recident there could give me any advise ??
- any good spots?? for what kind of fish??
- what bait should i use??
Thanks in advance for any useful information.
Cheers....

Salmon holes
Head over on the Gap road to the Salmon holes, long walk back up the hill after but usually well worth it.
Use mulies for bait or chrome slices for lures. Salmon should be just about ready to show up anytime. There should be a few herring and skippy aound.
Take CARE!! there have been too many lives lost by people not taking consideration of the conditions while fishing there and we don't want to see another name on that list.
