hi fishwrecked community, i am a new member and this is my first post..
im not sure if many of you caught many salmon in the metro/mandurah area last season, but i didnt get my first until september! sice then ive caught about twenty, all from the same spot. in the last two weeks the numbers of fish in the schools have doubled. First photo (sorry about the blood :S) was one of three fish i caught last week, measuring about 55-60cm. 2nd photo was one i caught in september on a rapala x-rap. soft plastics and poppers have been doing most of the damage. hope a few of you guys are getting into em :)

Good one Beau and welcome aboard
They look like some of the resident salmon that seem to hang around certain spots after the main schools pass through. Hopefully the big schoolswill come in real close this year and we can all have a great salmon season.
