The new Tub
On tuesday i finalized the deal, a new boat for many seasons to come. Shes a 07 Cruise Craft 575 Outsider with a suzuki 140 4stroke. Comes with most options and bridges the gap of family and serious rec craft. Even chem toilet for the Ladies!
I was nervous selling the Jackman and regretting it until today but after an impressive run off rotto today in shite conditions my resevations are long gone. I was easily able to maintain 17 to 20 knots in foul seas in all directions.
Cheers to all those who helped in the decision and Jaime for examining every square inch of the boat in the inspection.
Im now busy getting the transducer mounting ready for out wide and some name decals after christmass
She'll be called "Princess May"
Feel free to come along side if you see us out on the brine.
anyways enjoy

Nice rig Southcity! That will make getting out wide a bit more comfortable. Always sad to see an old boat go but a new one always makes it good! Enjoy!

Yeah 575 Adam.
If had another 20k and a landcruiser i would have gone that way (685+) but as it is its just right for the prado and my budget.
Ill be runnindg a VHF out there on the rec channel.

Also interested in the price.
Also interested in the price. Mate of mine took it for a test drive a few months ago. (6) he wasn't keen to budge then.

Feel somewhat reticent to disclose price.
Thats my business but it was well below his asking price and when he was getting silly offers around the 20k mark the owner was more than happy to accept my offer.
Its a slow market atm and reasonable offers will more than often win

Ouch! 72k!
The previous owner purchased it from estuary marine and the motor from all boats. I like all the options but prefer the bare essentials as theres less things that can break or perish.

Great boat mate, its bloody nice to see people still buying aussie boats.Cruise craft have a very solid rep in this country and they hold value very well.

First Blood?
managed to set anchor and dive southwest rocks inside rotto. Was lucky to get just one for the pot. Finding the pro floats today was like finding polystirene in a snow storm.
Feel pleased i went with the local market but the US boats are very tempting.
Might see you down south Harro? Ill doing mainly family stuff but would like to get wide on one of the days
