Brother and I have synced our fortnightly Fridays off and decided to take our youngest ones both 3 out today. Headed out from Hillarys after lunch to my whiting patch and managed to get 20 fat sandies in just over an hour in amongst a tonne of tiny flatties and race back for school pickup. My lil nephew was a star landing 3 on his own. Can't wait for dinner tomorrow night!

those 2 look chuffed with the catch. not to teach them to gut and fillet . well done.

GILLY, maybe try with a 1/4 of a seasick tablet, should have just enough effect to stop the seasickness and not too much to put em to sleep. my kids used to have 1/2 and never a prob

Tablets

I was he same Gilly but he was so keen to go so we tried him with half a tablet. Has had quells and travelcalm and he's good with both. It's not like he eats them like skittles. He's good for 3 or 4 hours now until he gets bored rather than sick.

Long runs on the river, lots

Sun, 2018-07-01 13:56

Long runs on the river, lots to see and lots to think about rather than focus on feeling ill. Try some crabbing, stop in for fish and chips as fishing boat harbour etc. go for a dip.

Only my eldest boy gets it

Only my eldest boy gets it Gilly. 1/4 of a Travacalm is enough to sort him out and not zonk him but boredom is the killer for him
