Could someone please explain this??
What,s the story with people calling other people a dog or its a dog act ect. I don,t understand as I think dogs are awesome creatures and you could not get a better companion. They are up there with the best animal. So, how would this be slagging someone???
I have got to know as I think dogs are good things.

Regular apologies to my dog
if things get out of hand and I utter the dreaded words "so and so is a f'n dog" or that was a "dog act" I find I have to apologise to my own dog (George) and the canine population in general for what I just said, go figure.
George seems to take in his stride alright, occasionally takes his frustrations out on the postman, or sets a trap by laying a turd where there's a high chance I'll step in it. If he's really pissed of he'll take it out on a passing Rottweiler (George is a Jack Russell) and leave me to deal with fall out as he watches from a distance, good bloke nontheless just a bit cheeky.

The "dog act" is what was called when someone had a court order preventing them from consuming alcohol years ago.
In jail someone who lags on another prisoner is called a dog and there is only one person lower than that and that's a [ rock spider] child molester.

You can look at it another way
Not all dogs are good. [ mine are ] as a matter of fact I am off in a couple of weeks to set up 145000 wild dog baits in the Pilbara which will be dropped all through the region via aircraft to hopefully kill hundreds of pest dogs which kill and injure hundreds of thousands of other creatures in the bush. So there you go..not all dogs are wonderful house pets.
