nor west blowies

hey there fellas,
been lucky enough to get into some fishing recently, i normally fish south rotto behind 5fb thereabouts.
however in the last three trips out we've caught norwest blowies, and over the last ten years we've not caught 1.
one of the schools would have been as big as a football field. these things were hitting jigs, placcies and everything.
anyone else caught these things any where else? am afraid that these blowies will become like the swan river blowies and plague this area. any thoughts of this?
thanks

Got one yesterday
behind carnac ...I've never seen a big school as you've described, they seem to be a lot more prevalent though...so would be logical to presume their numbers are increasing

seems like you all caught it
seems like you all caught it from the same area, the big school showing on the sounder 3 weeks back was around behind the 5 fathom off carnac.
atleast the go harder than the swan river blowies, had us guessing when you first hook them up.
thanks fellas
