North Mole 28/4

Hoping for a Bonito, or lost Salmon, I popped down to the mole this morning. I pretty much just chucked lures non-stop between about 6:30am and 8am. No bites, no one else got anything else while I was there either.

Better luck next time I guess!

Those Bonito though,  when

Those Bonito though,  when they're on they're on.

I drove down to the mole on Friday and there was a salmon taken, a pinky and a few bonito.

Not too sure what time you were down there on the Saturday Gus, but  I went down there and was just rigging up to see 4 bonito hook-ups in 5 minutes, then nothing for the next two hours.

I guess you just have to be at the right time!

Yeah that is it Till.  I got there at about 6.30am until about 7.30-8am.  Didn't see a single hook up and there was about 20 people down there.  I didnt want to mix it up with everyone shoulder to shoulder on the Northern side so I fished off the front.

Hrm we may've been there at

Hrm we may've been there at the same time then? Look out for a mazda ute w/trayback, goldy-bronze colour.

I think that I was there probaby about 7 - 9am on the Saturday. It was as you say elbow room only and some people git very mouthy when they got a hookup and people didnt pull their lines out.

till

That is very true Till.  I dont go much on this shoulder to shoulder business.  That is why I buggered off around the front.

Honsu Chin: Were you round

Mon, 2008-04-28 21:55

Honsu Chin: Were you round by the kiosk or something? I get squid @ Good Fortune Duck House myself.

Gus: not a fan of the elbow-to-elbow action myself, but  mercifully everyone could cast  accurately which was a great relief.

Whats with those guys in the bus on the mole, does that ever move?
