Nss7 evo3 with Airmar tm 185 w

Hey Guys i am thinking of upgrading my GPS/ sounder i was thinking of getting the new Nss7 evo3 and matching it up with a 1kw transducer.

i want to try and get the best of both worlds, fishing in 200m and picking up pelagics in midwater when trolling.

Any suggestions??

I have heard that the lowrance HDS only has a output of 500w so wouldnt be worth running a 1 kw transducer.

 I have the Nss8 and it is fantastic. i am not sure about the 1kw transducer but it can operate at various frequencies down to 50khz and can split the screen to have both a 200khz and 88khz or 50khz. this would give you the best of both worlds if that is the sort of info you are wanting.
