Oceanside Tackle & Marine
Cheers Adam, yes thanks to the members that have come in to take up the Web Sale Specials. The season will be a slow retail start imo so I've kicked it off with this SALE and more to come closer to X-mas!
Oceanside Tackle & Marine will be extending more into jigging gear, squiding gear and flygear for the up-n-coming season as this seems to be a growth areas for 2008/09

Web Sale and 2008/09 season!
Okay, i'm back from holidays and all relaxed. Just waiting for a break in the weather to get my big boat out........geez i'm missing the warm weather already.
The 1 week Web Sale was great, we moved a lot of gear with terminals/rods/reels/electronics and some upmarket gear going out the door. Thanks again to all FW members that came in and took up the BIG discounts.
I was actually telling Adam how impressed I am with Fishwrecked advertising as its the only effective form of advertising that has worked for me after trying all types. On that note, I've also told Adam that I will be renewing my contract with FW as it works. I'll get that paperwork to you as mentioned Adam after playing catch up here!
Honsu & myself will be stocking some new products that aren't available in Australia and that will involve various rods for egiing/squiding, taikaburra rods (ie for Ockta jigs), light tackle jigging rods ie PE 0.5 -3 and upmarket Japanesse lures. More info to come on that aswell as other new products for 2008/09 season....roll on I say

Hey ryan whats the main
Hey ryan whats the main difference between the taikaburra rods and say something made on a sabre blank in regards to working the octa jigs

action!
Yo Andrew, the Taikaburra rods have 2 actions you could say. It's still parabolic like a jigging rod but being generally longer allows for the second action of the tip. That tippy/slow action reduces hooks pulling on such a jig especially with the hook up technique required for those jigs!

shallow!
The heaviest we're looking at doing is up to PE3 (30lb) These rods are similar to driftbaiting rods but more suitable to these Octa jigs etc and the action required....basically more shallow work/lighter stuff mate!
