Hi guys,
looking at heading down to the old mandurah bridge over the weekend,
My grandfather swears by the spot, but I thought it had turned shit due to the new bridge being built their,
can anyone clarify what the fishing is like there, we would be chasing crabs, prawns and table fish,
Thanks, sharkhunter1

I was down there recently and it was always busy with people crabbing, doesn't mean they're catching I suppose..
From the bank around it I pulled a couple of flounder an flathead on lures

Piling works have well and
Piling works have well and truly finished on the new bridge. There is also silt curtains to ensure that the turbidity of the river is not altered through construction.
The new bridge construction should have minimal impact on the fishing.

Weight in crab net
Just a tip ensure that you have some weight in the bottom of your crab nets to keep them on the bottom.
