Open water for Jesse

Jesse and I went on the boat dives out of hillaries today ,conditions were ok .We did a 12 m dive then a 6m dive seen crays ,dhuies, morwong and heaps of other fish. Jesse passed his ticket so lookout crays and maybe a few dhuies.

Thats right Roberta,there was a school off hundreds,there was buffbream mixed with them,i didn't have the flash on so a bit hard to see.
PilberaBrad The camera is a Intova the wife got it for me last christmas ,good to 50m .Around $300 ,iv'e only used it a couple of times the pics of Jesse i didn't have the flash on,still trying to work it out but i will keep on posting up some pics as the quality gets better.
Alfred ,well spotted he thought he was getting water in the main reg so he changed over.
Wadetolly yes a couple swimming around up to five kg .Also seen a cobler about 600mm long it was a ripper.

Good to hear you saw some shallow water crays, we were in just 5 - 9m at Hammersly Pool today and didn't see one.

Great pics Russ and i wanted to do our dive ticket but unfortuatly russ because of his ears can not dive so all we can do is snorkle.
I have cleared up your great pic of the fish hope you do not mind but to good a pic.

It is a fantastic place to be ,just hope i can get back down there one of these days.I will give you a great spot for a dive off lano north that is a awesome dive just dont spear the big dhuies that come along lots of 6 to 14/15ish come through at the right time of year.
So tell me have you got your info from years on the water or hours on the internet?

There will be no stopping you now... Would love to get back into diving again myself but the ol' asthma has put a stop to that so it will have to be ontop of the water for me

well done mate,i been diving 12 yrs, congrats, and its a whole new world under there, i cant get enough, whether its a dive wreck, reef dive,hunt dive,cray dive well done
i,m sure you,ll get some awesome experiences as i have and still do..
just keep your knowledge u have learnt always first hand, and enjoy your new world..

Congrats on the open water
Congrats on the open water dive Jesse. Hit the old man up for a hood for xmas too. Not only keeps you alot warmer but more importantly protects ya head when hunting for crays in those tight spots.
And the conditions out there on Sunday were not the best after Saturdays big blow - still got our limit though.
