Just thought i'd throw a post up as it seems i can upload photos again all of a sudden. The girlfriend got these on sunday just gone, gentlemens hours, about 1030am. Nice tailor then a big salmon to put me to shame as i caught nothing! She casts a 12 foot surf rod like a pro! Had to tell her to settle down as she was casting past the front gutter and out the back break! Tailor was nice fresh for lunch and the dogs enjoyed a week of salmon (swallowed the hooks otherwise would have released) Conditions couldn't of got any better

Yeah mate few battle scars! The old salmon do it tuff I reckon, this one made it past the sharks only to swallow a set of 6/0 gangs and end up in the belly of a couple of staffy's, poor fella. Plenty of them down here south of the river, there were many caught that day by others just not me!

Perfect beach conditions
Looks like perfect fishing conditions from the beach and a great result. I agree with you on the salmon having a rough time of it, if it's not the sharks it's the hooks.
