Palm Beach Jetty

has anyone fished there resently and what have u caught i was going to try out my new soft plastics kit and hunt for some mullas if anyone has been there or has a good spot (south tho) let me know. thanks lads

the soft plastics are not for the mullas there for herring or anything else i can get on them lol lives for the mullas

Went down there last night from 5-11 there is really not much action. At about 12 landed a little eagle ray of about 10kg then nothing for the rest of the night except some little herring and yellowtail. Havn't heard anything about any mulloway yet but you never know. Best bet for a mully would be a live yellowtail and you never know you may get a pinky but make sure you release one if you do happen to get one as the snapper ban is on.

Theres a few squid around

Theres a few squid around there, but how gay are the moorings just off the jetty. Couldnt believe it when they put the first one in now theres about three 50m out!   Lost plenty of big rays to them even on 65lb braid.  Could see someone pinging a big star sinker at one of the boats that use the moorings :)   Seems to me that the council has sold as many as possible to justify the marina.
