i drive pass regularly and have not seen to much work going on lately but i would say not to far off

Shortly i believe,,they are waiting to finish landscapeing the surrounding areas.

It will be good for swimming and sight seeing,,not much chop for fishos though, very little room and poorly designed (from fishos point of view)

It would not suprise me if fishing gets banned there as kids get hooks and stuff in them whilst swimming and jumping off the lower landings.

Try the yacht club jetty a couple k's north,,a much better design for fishing.

that sucks then the old one was heaps good for every thing.

Yes thats right but the new was has the lower landing where kids/people can walk out and swim,,some dopey fishos might leave hooks and stuff around,,maybe even get hooks  stuck on the swimming ladder ?

 Hopefully the jetty will prove better than what it looks like from a distance, looking forward to checking it out when its open.

at night i hope there is squid around it again.

I reckon it will go well for squid , i can't recall how many lights it has,,hopefully it has plenty to attract the squid in, i think opening is the first or second week of October,,not 100% sure about that though.

ohk sweet might have to go down there wen it is open and see if i can get a few squids.
