Don pretty standard gear for
Don pretty standard gear for beach fishing SA.
13 ft Snyder, Penn 850 with 30lb fireline...
Always ran running wire sinkers..
I've still got the hooks and trace and obviously the jewels from its head as most Mulloway hunters would have...
Interestingly i've caught smaller models ( 30 lb ) that had much bigger Jewels than this one had..

Funny still having the
Funny still having the waders on, hadn't thought about it before.
The pic was taken probably half an hour or more later at mum n dads place about 11pm.
I packed up the gear and threw the fish in the back of a short wheel base landy I was driving ( work car ) and drove about a km back down the beach then few hundred metres back to the folks house.
I rang my best mate and got him out of bed so he could come out for a look.
Obviously hadn't got around to getting the waders off...
