PB Squid

Caught this monster squid a few weeks back at busselton jetty at the end after an all nighter. He followed in our Live bait (which sadly wasn't very alive anymore by this stage). We caught 5 more (could have had more too) but this one was by far the biggest. I'm not very good at estimating the length of it but my foot is about a size 10 in comparison. (Although in the picture it looks like a size 4!) Sorry about the quality, it was uploaded on the iphone.

Nice squid.
Commonly get a heap that size when fishing for salmon locally in Rocko (heads 35-40cm). Haven't bothered this year due to no salmon up this way with warm waters.

Yep,
I keep telling you blokes we get some biggens down here, and thats still only an average one.
My biggest was around 45cm hood length, have seen others up to 55cm.
Not a place for $800 egi outfits though
