Had a go with 2oz richter plug this morning but no hits......how fast a retrieve do you find works wit the richters? They tend to break the surface with much speed?

i retrieve at a speed where the plug can skip along the surface then dip down in the water for a bit too, when theyre realy firing and youve found the school then you can reel as fast as you possibly can and enjoy the show! The shallower you're fishing the higher the tailor get in the air ive noticed! I've seen 50cm+ fish backflip out of the water hitting the plug in only a meter of water!
