got my pb tailor today prety stoked
79cm didnt weigh him but my guess is over 5kg
headed down to throw a popper around for an hour under much protest from the missus tried one spot not much action after 15 minutes so i moved down the beach to a spot with more reef and white water the old red head did it on the 5th cast
hooked another one about 15 - 20 casts later he threw the hooks mid air i would say he was probably a bit bigger so spewing about that.
got too dark so i had to get off the reef before i broke my ankle trying to get back to shore, bare feet and reefs dont really mix.
you know you live in a good spot when you can head 10 minutes from home at 5 30 in the arvo and come back an hour later with a fish like this.

Kalbarri or Gero?
Midwest is my dream location to live, not too far north, (cylcones, high cost of living etc)
not too far south ( cold winters, bloody freeway traffic, small tailor etc)
good solid fish there, well done and on a lure.

yeah gero mate, moved up here a few years ago i love it, i live out near the river mouth so i just jump on the quad and head 100m down the road and onto the dunes

Awesome fish mate! Have been giving Gero to Dongara a good crack over the last few weeks after work with little result. Good to see there are fish around. Back up Wed so hopefully I'll find a few. Cheers for the inspiration mate!
