Peaceful Bay

G’day all, I’m looking at taking my 4.5m tinnie over to Peaceful Bay to drop a line in the water. Any advice re launching in the area? Is it a beach launch or is there a ramp there? Any tips appreciated.

Beach launch with a small finger jetty.
sand is really hard, sometimes it can be shallow and you have to drive a fair way in to launch and retrieve but you should be fine with the tinny.

We were there last Year and Beach launch is your only option in town. Very sketchy in a swell.
with no spots, we just went out to 20m and drifted around and found some Nannigai or however you spell it.
watch your back with the swell. You don't need to go far to get a feed.

Yep
With any swell just make sure you dont linger long on the sand as will wash under your tyres and will find yourself stuck. Squid and king george often in the bay if you dont want to go out the back.
