Hello,
i am just wondering how these reels are looking to get one, are they worth it? is the drag nice and smooth?
and does anybody happen to have one the are willing to sell. looking at getting one for a reasonable price.

Older ones had an awesome
Older ones had an awesome reputation for being unbreakable. THis was in the days well before Saltiga and Stellas etc. Then the factory went from the USA to China with the release of the SSM model and the quality seemed to go down. That and every other reel in that category has improved.
Damn those 950's are heavy things to hang onto as well.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

Yep, incredably heavy. only use mine if i know its gonna sit in a rod holder for most of the session. Great reel for the price though, I have had a couple of drag problems with mine but they were resolved pretty easily and i still rate the reel highly.

hes is bit more than what i was offered and the reel i was offered comes with 400m of 50lb braid... all for $20 cheaper then liams offer.
