i went fishing a month or so ago, pulled up 2 my favourite bream spot on my favourite secret moon phase for bream to find an old blue heeler trapped up on the river bank i tried to pull him up but couldnt get a good grip i decided to go for a bit of a swim(too bad it wasnt summer)the water was freezing i got up behind him and pushed him up 2 shore.found his owners number took him home to an old couple. apparently he had been missing since 11pm the previous night.by then it was pretty dark so i was summing up to just go back home or go for a fish. being the keen fisherman i am i cant believe i even thought to go back home. back down the river(secret) i  wet my line 5 minutes later looked up at the rod bending almost to the water and massive head shakes, had hooked it self running, straight for the snags, picked up the rod cranked up the drag i was calling it for a soapie and then i seen that beuatiful bronzy purple just turn over in the water i KNEW it was my biggest bream i HAVE to land this fish.got him out of the snag with a bit of help by holding the spool from spinning:):):)grabbed the leader and BANG landed my pb black bream..i was STOKED.40cm and weighed in at 1kilo...rod was back in the water with in seconds bang 2 more nice size bream on the bank..only kept 1 that night happily release the other 2:)awsome session
