Perth to Cape Leveque and everything inbetween

Howdy All,
The 2020 trip to Monkey Mia is back on again in 2021 after being postponed due to covid. It has now grown legs and we are going a hell of a lot further and venturing as far as Cape Leveque over a 5 week period
We have been Perth to Exmouth with plenty of places between. Flown into Karratha and Broome though have not seen anything between.
What must i see? Where must i go? How can I catch a bloody spaniard?
We're taking the 3.3m inflatable with a 9.8hp so will have some boat fishing capabilities.
Cheers in advance

Cheers, Josh. I forgot you
Cheers, Josh. I forgot you were up there!
I have tried booking into Pender Bay though old mate tells me there are some concerns with native title and potential camping restrictions so couldnt take the booking! JPP is on the agenda along with Quondong point. We will probably head to the tip but we'll see.
I will flick you a message!

Hey swampa, might pay to
Hey swampa, might pay to check with local authorities as I read that all the free camps from barred Crk to jpp etc had been closed for the time being because of the native tittle being issued. Bummer as there are some great camps along that section.

Add Gambanan, few kms
Add Gambanan, few kms before One Arm Point. Great camp spot, with amazing tides ripping past the rocks. Few pelagics in the channel.

Go north and stay there
Hit up Broome and beyond for the whole trip. You can spend a lifetime up there and still not scratch the surface. Exmouth and so on can be done anytime where getting to Broome requires some serious time in the car.

I wish!
The only bookings we have up there are at Eco Beach for three nights and RAC Cable Beach just so we can re-stock. We have 17 days unplanned to just wing it.
Monkey mia is 5 days and then the plan is to push to Karratha then start the trip east of K-town.

Port Smith is worth a look
Cape Leveque was ok in July last year but not really anything to catch of note, we had 12ft dinghy, we stayed at Kooljaman, nice spot
Port Smith is worth a look too, 160kms south of Broome, fin fish in the lagoon and water like glass in 20m, 2km from ramp, keep an eye on tides though

Cheers Mate. Port Smith is on
Cheers Mate.
Port Smith is on the agenda, potentially as a night or two between 80 mile and Eco Beach or on the way back though we are thinking of Barn Hill on the way back. SO many options up that way.
