Heading down to Marmian Angling Club to hear Peter Pakula talk gamefishing tonight starting at 7pm. Hope to meet a few other FW people there.

Good luck,i see he is at my local tackle shop (Compleat angler ,Rockingham) 6.30 pm,,(27 th october,tommorow night,)would be the night of the year for game fishos, not my style of fishing but he is a legend for sure,,(you have to book i believe, might be sold out)

That must have been you guys in front of us Till/Paul.........was a good night....all I need now is a 35ft Berty to drag some of those huge clear soft headed, fully barbed two hooked skirts around right up in the enornous prop wash......with drag set to sunset and high sticking it all the way!

entry to the last one at Bluewater Melville about 6 months ago was free and for memory a 15% (may have been more?) discount was offered on all goods in the shop on the night.

Last time Peter Pakula
Last time Peter Pakula handed out some wicked free DVDs on gamefishing.
He also had some really good info on gamefishing that applies across the spectrum of fishing. Infomation that will change the way a few people fish.
Definately worth a listen. Last time Bluewater had food and some cans of cool drink.

Great night, this guy has a heap of knowledge and gave me plenty to think about to improve catch rates, handed out free dvds as well at the end. There was also an interesting insight into latest offerings from Okuma with some pretty serious new game reels shown. Good to catch up with Jamie and meet Paul and Jesse, if you get a chance to go over the next 2 nights its well worth it.

Everyone can get something
Everyone can get something out of this not matter what sort of fishing you do ,was a top night in Rockingham i am sitting here in my free Okumo shirt(raffle),stimalate hat and checking out my DVD (all free)plenty of food and drinks,,
Peter said the staff are amonst the friendliest he has met and he does a couple hundred of these a year,,
Every one have a good time tommorow night in Melville,,

I was at Rockingham last night, worth the effort to go for sure. Knocked a few myths on the head, and great tow-cam footage that changes the way you think about things. Yet to watch the DVD but I know there will be plenty of good info on that too....
