Lumo or light stick
I wish I had your problem. I believe some lumo tubing or equivalent is a plus as a visual attractor in the dark depths. Big circle hooks, big baits and hold on.

Marks are good to get you in an area but using your 2kw sounder to find good fish and dropping on them is the key. Hook size, 13/0 Gladiator circle hook, 150lb trace line, long green lumo sleeve for visual and teeth wear-n-tear. Oily & bulky baits with squid is the go with a heavy snapper bomb as the current can be bad up there.
