Pimp my fishing reel parts??

 Hi guys,

wondering where most of you buy aftermarket fishing reel parts online?

i am chasing parts to bling up my daiwa pluton among a few others.

The 2x sites I have found thus far are plat and also mud hole.

if you have any recommendation on where I can get nice shiny aftermarket small handles or dress up bits for a baitcaster at a reasonable price I would appreciate the info.

surely with 90% of what we buy being made in China there has to be some cheap alternatives to factory items around??

Pinching the post a little

Wed, 2013-04-10 13:35

Sorry, but not into pimping reels. Just interested in how you can, ie what can be pimped. And say you have a Stella at $1000 how much extra would a "Pimp" cost.

Purely interested in the $$$. I am way to rough with my reels to pimp them, but have seen some amazing looking pimped reels. Even the 2 Stella's I have do a job for me, and arent babied. I think my SustainFG 2500 is my babied reel.

Anyone able to shed some light? Keep getting a bunch of useless info no matter you search on the net.

OK I have to say it: wanky handles dont catch fish. They catch people.

 Lighter combos (lighter

Lighter combos (lighter handle): Easier to cast all day

Ball Knob: Easier to grab when a fish takes it

Those are usefull

I do admit that those RED and Blue RCS handles are useless in replacing the black ones on Daiwas.

Got mags on yer wagon or

Got mags on yer wagon or maybe hang a few photos at home, making something more aesthetic does actually improve the experience, sounds wanky but it's true, Japan Tackle for all my pimping needs, Jun Sonoda runs it and is terrific to deal with.
